Key Information

  • Our Academy is a one-form entry primary school with academy status.
  • We provide excellent education for children of school ages 4-11. Our total number on roll is 210.
  • We also have two nursery classes offering 15 hour nursery entitlement and 30 hour nursery entitlement for 3 and 4 year olds. You can apply for a place at our nursery by coming in to school for an application form.

Applications for a place at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Primary Academy & Nursery (Reception – Year 6) must initially be made via the Wolverhampton LA coordinated admissions procedure.

The Academy’s Admission Number for the academic year 2021/22 is thirty. If the number of applications exceeds the admission number, the Local Governing Body will give priority to applications in accordance with the criteria listed in our admissions policy.

Date of Allocation of Places

Deadline for lodging appeals and providing evidence to support the appeal (if appropriate):

Appeals will be heard in May 2021 (date tbc).

Notice of appeal hearing: At least 10 school days notice of the appeal hearing

Deadline for governing body to submit evidence for the appeal:

Deadline for sending appeal papers to all parties: No later than 10 school days before the

appeal hearing

Deadline for appellant to submit additional evidence: 5 school days before the appeal hearing.

Information or evidence not submitted by the deadline might not be considered at the


Late applications for appeals will be heard at the same time as previously scheduled

appeals or within 30 school days of appeal being lodged. Decision letters are sent to the appellant normally within five school days.
