We are committed to giving all children wide ranging opportunity to develop their physical skills in a wide range of sporting activities. We recognise that physical health is closely linked to mental health and wellbeing, we want all of our children to be active and to develop physical skills for life. This is demonstrated by our Platinum School Games award and our Wellbeing Award for Schools.

Here are our plans for the present year:

The allocated additional funding for sports provision in the school will have an impact on provision, participation and outcomes.

This money can partially fund specialist sports coaching, access to school clubs and help provide sports equipment.

Links with other schools, both primary and secondary, are continually being developed.

Children in KS1 and 2 are provided with opportunities to compete in inter school matches and tournaments.

During this year the children will participate in a number of games including Tag Rugby,  Dodgeball, Dance, Football, and Athletics. Pupils will take part in Multi-skills events, Boccia, and cross country. To see our plans and evaluation of spend, look at the linked documents.
