Here are our children that have been nominated for praise this week.
Before half term, we were very lucky to have Anna Price, the Wolves Women Captain, visit our school to present our girl’s football team with their new kit that was a result of the Recomony and Wolves Foundation project we have been part of.
She answered the girl’s questions and shared her own experience of girl’s football. She was a wonderful role model and someone the girl’s can look up to considering she was brought up in the local area.

Today, our Year 5/6 Boys and Girls Football teams competed in the Wolves Foundation Cup at Molineux.
This was the first time the girls have worn their new kit, which was made from recycled plastic bottles collected in the project with Reconomy and Wolves Foundation.

Yesterday, our pupils led our May Procession service in school. Children from Year 6, Year 4 and Year 3 led our school in our dedication to Mary, which ended with Maddison in Year 6 crowning Mary. This year, the children have planted seeds as an offering to Mary, which will then grow and decorate our prayer garden in school.

Congratulations to our Year 3 children, who celebrated their First Holy Communion today. Family, parishioners and staff from the school were pleased to celebrate this special occasion with you on Saturday.

Reception watched three of their butterflies leave the net and fly into the big wide world! They
have loved watching them grow and change from caterpillars.
Onb Wednesday, our Year 6 Pupils went on a trip to the Warner Bros Studios Harry Potter tour as a well done for completing their SATS but also to be used to support some of their upcoming writing in school!

Year 4 & 5 came together with the pupils at St Michael’s to lead a Feast day Mass for the Ascension #holydayofobligation
