Early Years Outdoor Area

By Mr J Morgan3rd February 2020

The Early Years team and children would like to thank the families who joined us in our outdoor area on Wednesday 29th January for their hard work and support. They were tasked with shoveling soil, transporting it in wheelbarrows and filling the digging area and planting areas. They also helped to move bags of stones and gravel which have been placed in tyres to enhance the environment further. This is just the beginning and we will be looking for more willing volunteers in the coming weeks…

By Mr J Morgan17th December 2019

The school league tables based on 2019 Key Stage 2 results were published on Friday 13th December. We are delighted to share that, out of all Wolverhampton schools, SS Peter and Paul has been ranked 1st for overall performance!

Whilst academic performance is but one measure of what we do as a school, we are proud to have the work we do recognised in this way.

Well done to our pupils, staff and governors. Thank you to parents as always for your valued support.

The Polar Express comes to SS Peter and Paul

By Mr J Morgan16th December 2019

On Friday 6th December, The Polar Express came to SS Peter and Paul Catholic Primary Academy. The children were given their own special train ticket, which was then punched by train conductors around school. The children were then able to follow the train track around school to their classes.

In the afternoon, there was an extra special surprise as Father Christmas turned up to the see the children at North Pole with his reindeer. Each class had a chance to see Father Christmas and meet the reindeer and some children were able to sit on Father Christmas’ sleigh and have some pictures. Hot Chocolate was also served for families while our wonderful choir sang some Christmas carols.

Unified Cricket Event

By Mr J Morgan26th November 2019

Report Written by Dior (Y6)

When we got to Ormiston NEW Academy, we saw the competition. Despite use either forgetting or not knowing how to play Cricket, we had faith in ourselves. When we got into the sports hall, we practised a bit then a lady gathered us and told us who we were going against.

We were going to play in the smaller sports hall across from the larger oneĀ  – we played all our games in there. Our first two games before lunch – we won.

After lunch, we were supposed to play The Royal School but the plans changed. We ended up playing another school that had also won 2 games (St Stephens). They played really well in the game. They finished on 10 runs but we were sure we could beat them. We were also on 10 runs with one ball left and I hit the ball so well – I didn’t have to run and then everyone crowded around me and we had won the competition!
