Yesterday in school, we celebrated the Feast of Blessed Carlo Acutis, the saint of our Parish, with our Year 5 children leading Mass in school. The children shared stories about his childhood and spoke about how they can relate to him in their Faith lessons.
Today in praise assembly, Mrs Griffiths presented the winning children with their mug designs and their actual mugs! She also announced that we raised a fantastic £300 for Macmillan from the competition and cake donations! Thank you everyone that contributed!

We are delighted to inform you that we have been awarded an Artsmark Silver Award!
This is what they said about our SS Peter and Paul!
‘You are positively increasing the emphasis on arts and culture and engaging with the Arts is having tangible results on pupils and staff. The Arts feature in the School Improvement Plan and are supported by SLT, and Governors are kept informed. Pupils access a consistent and relevant range of experiences in school which leads to showcasing within school and within the immediate community. Projects such as Molineux Alley and City Diversity are great ways to connect with the Arts and other local schools. It’s also good to see that the pandemic didn’t stop your arts engagement which continued through digital means.’
Congratulations on your Artsmark Silver Award!
Lovely to see our Year 6 Liturgy Leaders leading our prayer in the month of the Holy Rosary! The children are leading this daily before lunch with the rest of the children invited to join.

Today, some of our Year 2 pupils attended a mini festival at Newbridge Tennis and Squash Club! They participated in activities around Tennis, Squash, Dodgeball and the Gym. The whole emphasis was on them being engaged and having fun! Our children had a wonderful time, and we definitly saw a future tennis star in the making!

Today, the children who completed Mr Morgan’s Keep Up booklets over the summer holidays were rewarded with their certficates and prizes! Well done to everyone that kept up with their maths learning!

This morning, we welcomed in our school community for our Macmillan coffee morning. Parents and family members visited their child’s classes and were invited to have a hot drink and some cake while participating in some fun activities with their children in the classrooms!
We are going to announce the winners of the mug design in next week’s praise assembly, where we will also be able to share how much we raised!
Thank you for all your support and for Mrs Griffiths for organising a wonderful morning!

Thank you to the parents who attended our meeting this afternoon.
