Today, some of our Year 3 and 5 children attended a Boccia Event. They split into two teams for the target throwing event. Our two teams came 6th and 3rd respectively – with the third place team receiving bronze medals! Well done all!
Yesterday, our Year 6 class put on a Liturgy with a focus on their class saint – John Bosco. This was really well attended by parents – thank you.
Yesterday, some of our Year 3 and 4 pupils attended a multi-skills event at Westcroft School. They completed activities testing their skills such as jumping, speed, catching and agility! They did phenomenally well and came 3rd out of 10 teams! Well done children!
This evening, some of our Year 2 children participated in a multi-skills competition. This involved testing their skills in speed, balance, throwing, jumping and their hand-eye coordination. They all gave their best and we look forward to finding out the results!
Look at all of these books that have very kindly been donated to us today! Our Year 6 Reading Council members can’t wait to distribute them around the school for the class libraries! Wow!
Reception have been celebrating Chinese New Year. We made lanterns, painted Chinese letters and even tried Chinese food.

To link with our Live Simply Award and our Catholic Social Teachings, today was the launch of a new recycling project in partnership with Reconomy and Wolves Foundation.
Reconomy came into school to deliver an assembly to launch the recycling project and also inform the classes on the benefits of recycling. Our Key Stage 2 classes are tasked with collecting plastic bottles and putting them in a recycling bin in their classroom. The class who have collected the most bottles by the end of half term will win a special prize!
But that’s not all… the bottles collected will be turned into a new sports kit for our school, and the kit will be designed by one of our very own pupils!
Our Nursery children have been using their new touch screen board in their classroom – they are really enjoying using the new technology!
