Well done to our Year 4 children, who participated in their first Sacrament of Reconciliation yesterday.
During October, everyone at SS Peter and Paul has been celebrating Black History Month. In Early Years, the children have celebrated in a range of ways including: wearing traditional dress, African drumming using body percussion, learning Che Che Kule, tasting plantain chips, mango, Caribbean spiced fruit loaf and mango juice as well as making necklaces and listening to stories.
Other year groups have been learning about inspirational black people such as Ruby Bridges, Marcus Rashford, Martin Luther King Jr, Nelson Mandela and Wangari Maathai. Year 2 are currently writing a biography as part of a local competition on a chosen person.
We would like to celebrate our fantastic attendance of 96.9%! This is helped by our wonderful parents and carers supporting our school and their children’s education by wearing masks and socially distancing on site. Thank you! ![]()

Please take care on the roads outside out school while we do not have a traffic warden. Educate your children on how to cross roads safely.

Today was Mission Day in our school. We have a new mission statement and we have been learning what it means and recognising the many ways we put the words into action!
Have a look at what we got up to:

Take a look at some of the pictures below and there are also some of the jokes that the children (and Mrs Byrne) thought of.
