Our Year 6 children attended the Good Shepherd Mass this morning, which was streamed from St Chad’s Cathedral.
As a school, we would like to thank Nuno Espirito Santo for his support in ‘feeding the pack’ within our local community. Mrs Byrne and her family created a banner for him to say thank you and so did our Year 6 child – Seb! Well done all and ‘obrigado Nuno’.
Last week, Year 6 were visited by Deacon Own for a Vocations Workshop, where they learnt all about the Lord’s calling to the vocation of Priesthood.
Fantastic attendance across the school this week! Well done to our two classes, who achieved 100% Years 2 and 6 will receive an extra play next week!

Nursery have enjoyed learning all about Eid. They had fun making Eid cards, making (and eating) star and moon toast and tasting dates. Some of their friends brought in treats for them to share…thank you!They loved hearing about how some of their friends had celebrated Eid.[
On Friday, our children in Year 4 celebrated their Holy Communion by having a celebration in class, enjoying cake and receiving medals. They all looked wonderful in their dresses and suits.
Thank you to everyone who took part in NSPCC Rocks today! These are the final class results!
Top performing children will be told next week and receive a prize!

Well done to Year 6, who had 99.3% this week! Year 4 were very close behind! Our whole school attendance remains at 97.2%! Well done and enjoy your bank holiday weekend!
