This week in our Early Years, we have some ducklings who have come to visit. We have organised family sessions to meet the ducklings this week. It is wonderful to be planning ways to have families back in school for special, memorable events.
Congratulations to our World Book Day competition Winners.
The results of the door jackets competition were:
1st – Year 3 2nd – Year 1 3rd – Year 6
The winning year group for the trailer was Year 5 for their book Megamonster! Here is their trailer below:

Yesterday in school, we celebrated International Women’s Day. All the classes had their own focus and Mrs Walker had conducted some interviews with some inspirational women in the local area that the children could be inspired by and find out about.

To support the children’s learning on E-Safety and bullying, we arranged for our local PCSO to do a session with them addressing these topics. Year 6 found the PCSO visit very informative! They contributed enthusiastically and their learning has supported their E-Safety and Computing lessons.
Last week we celebrated Children’s Mental Health Week in school!

Children from Year 4 and 5 took part in a Basketball festival last week and demonstrated a range of different skills including shuttle runs, dribbling the ball in a zig-zag direction and shooting. Once the children had warmed up, they took part in three basketball games against three different schools. Well done to all who participated and for representing your school.
